The Area
The village Nusbaum is within the german-luxemburgish nature park and with its population of about 500 people a small village in the countryside.

Historically the area is very interesting. Visit the castles in Weilerbach, Beaufort, Vianden, Neuerburg and Bollendorf and the roman city Trier, which is the oldest city in Germany, full of old and roman buildings. It is well known for its Cathedral and the Porta Nigra. Also visit the “Echternacher See“ and many other places in Luxemburg, as it is only a few miles away.

Activities – Walks through gorges, grottos, caves, “irreler wasserfälle” (waterfalls), idyllic fields and woods, swimming in the Indoor and outdoor centre “Cascade” in Bitburg and many other rather local outdoor pools - In and around Echternach, there are possibilities for canoeing, mini golf and leisure centers.

Geocacher: Infos under: www.geocaching.com. Our holiday guests (there geocaching ID is „Tweegees“) were excited about the amount of point they achieved on their travels around the area.
